Dumbas has painted himself into such a small corner with all his bad signings there`s not a heck of a lot he can do which might be a good thing right now. Unless he`s dealing for that RHD they really need he`s better off seeing what Sandin and Liljigren can do. Giving a guy like Holl 2 million a year yikes what in the world was he thinking

I don’t think Dubas is willing to move the assets/picks needed to swing a significant trade for D.
F’s suggested are under good contracts which are few on the Leafs & cheap contracts are pretty much plugs that won’t fetch anything.
$40m on the big 4 is arguably a poor situation that wasn’t wise day 1. Signing JT was great in theory but it ends there hamstringing the needed depth it tajes to win a cup. The domino effect became the problem but Willy has been good.
