SPECTOR'S NOTE: My thanks to everyone who sent this and the other links I've posted up today in to me. I can currently receive e-mail but cannot respond via my Outlook account. Anyway, we'll find out soon enough if this deal goes down but it wouldn't be surprising if it did, considering how important Luongo is to the Canucks, and Buccigross isn't one to make erroneous reports.

**UPDATE** Canucks GM Mike Gillis and Luongo's agent Gilles Lupien have denied this report. Gillis claims they've had preliminary talks to date.
