COLUMBUS DISPATCH: reports Blue Jackets winger Nikita Filatov will be loaned to his former Russian team CKSA Moscow of the KHL on a one-year loan agreement with the Blue Jackets. Filatov will return to the Jackets for next fall's training camp.
SPECTOR'S NOTE: Filatov wasn't playing the kind of two-way hockey head coach Ken Hitchcock expects from his forwards. It'll be interesting to see if this has any potential impact upon Hitchcock's tenure as the Jackets head coach or upon Filatov's future with the team. You can read more about Filatov's side of the story with an interview he gave Dmitry Chesnokov on Puck Daddy's blog.
