Check out the recaps from a busy Saturday night in the NHL.
BOSTON HERALD: The Boston Bruins spoiled the return of New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist on route to a 4-2 victory over the Blueshirts. The Bruins achieved the win despite starting goalie Tuukka Rask taking himself out of the game early in the second period because of dehydration. Milan Lucic scored twice for the Bruins while Rick Nash tallied his 40th of the season in a losing cause for the Rangers. Blueshirts forward Tanner Glass was fined nearly $3,900.00 for butt-ending Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid in the face with his stick.
THE TENNESSEAN: First-period goals from Mattias Ekholm, Mike Fisher and Filip Forsberg powered the Nashville Predators to a 4-3 win over the Washington Capitals, chasing Capitals goalie Braden Holtby in the first fifteen minutes. No word yet as to the severity of Letang’s injury.
