THE WASHINGTON POST: Braden Holtby made 35 saves while Evgeny Kuznetsov and Mike Green scored to give the Washington Capitals a 2-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings.
PHILLY.COM: Steve Mason made 46 saves as the Philadelphia Flyers downed the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-1 to complete a sweep of their season series. Brayden Schenn had a goal and two assists while Jakub Voracek had a goal and an assist for the Flyers.

SPORTSNET: reported Saturday night San Jose Sharks coach Todd McLellan has an out-clause in his contract which he can employ if GM Doug Wilson is fired. It will allow McLellan to become a free agent.
