PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE: The Pittsburgh Penguins re-signed defenseman Brian Dumoulin to a two-year, one-way deal worth $800K per season.
THE DALLAS MORNING NEWS: The Dallas Stars re-signed defenseman Jamie Oleksiak to a one-year, $875K contract.

NJ.COM: The New Jersey Devils are parting ways with director of scouting David Conte. During his 22 years in the role, Conte drafted Brendan Shanahan, Bill Guerin, Martin Brodeur, Scott Niedermayer, Brian Rolston, Sergei Brylin, Patrik Elias, Scott Gomez and Brian Gionta.
SPECTOR’S NOTE: Conte was the right-hand man of former GM Lou Lamoriello and a key reason behind the Devils success between 1994 and 2003, as the club advanced to four Stanley Cup Finals during that period, winning three championships.
