SPORTSNET: The NHLPA has formed a partnership with Western University to enhance research into player concussion injuries. The PA will contribute $500,000 to the university’s research.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: While the PA is working to study the effects of concussions upon players, the NHL sticks its head in the sand and disputes the link between concussions and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).
