The Calgary Flames traded forward David Jones  to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for goaltender Niklas Backstrom and a sixth-round pick.

The Anaheim Ducks traded winger Patrick Maroon to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for a prospect and a 2016 fourth-round pick

The Anaheim Ducks acquired left wing Jamie McGinn from the Buffalo Sabres for a conditional third-round draft pick. 

The Montreal Canadiens trade winger Devante Smith-Pelly to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for winger Stefan Matteau. 

The Boston Bruins have acquired forward Lee Stempniak from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for a 2016 fourth-round pick and a 2017 second-round selection. 

The Ottawa Senators have traded forward Shane Prince and 7th-round pick in 2016 to Islanders for a third round pick in 2016.

The Carolina Hurricanes traded defenseman John-Michael Liles to the Boston Bruins in exchange for a third-round pick in 2016, a fifth-round pick in 2017 and prospect Anthony Camara.

The Florida Panthers have traded forward Brandon Pirri to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a sixth-round pick in 2016. 

The Calgary Flames have traded defenseman Kris Russell to the Dallas Stars in exchange for defenseman Jyrki Jokipakka, forward Brett Pollock and a conditional 2nd round pick. If the Stars reach the Conference Finals and Russell plays in half their playoff games, it becomes a first-round pick. 

The New Jersey Devils have traded defenseman Eric Gelinas to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a third-round pick.

The Arizona Coyotes have traded winger Mikkel Boedker to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for left wing Alex Tanguay and prospects Conner Bleackley and Kyle Wood. 

The PIttsburgh Penguins trade forward Sergei Plotnikov to the Arizona Coyotes for a seventh-round draft choice in 2017 and minor-leaguer Matthias Piachta.
