CBS SPORTS: The Chicago Blackhawks placed defenseman Rob Scuderi on waivers yesterday. If unclaimed, he’ll be demoted to the minors. The move will free up $950K of cap space for the Blackhawks.

No kidding. Hopefully Kane matures as he ages as he’s made these same sort of mistakes repeatedly & it appears to be a pattern of immaturity he just can’t seem to get a handle on. At 24, 25 in August you would have thought he would have learned his lessons by now. I just don’t want him in my dressing room. Didn’t Colorado partly move out Zadorov for similar behavior?
Well I guess you had to give up something to get O’Reilly from Colorado. The players Colorado got are very young, Zadorov, Grigorenko, Compher & a 2nd, 31st last season flipped to SJ for a later 2nd & additional compensation but what a great trade for Buffalo & they got McGinn to boot.
