NHL.COM/THE MERCURY NEWS:  Mike Fisher scored in the third overtime period of Game 4 to give the Nashville Predators a 4-3 victory over the San Jose Sharks, tying their best-of-seven series at two games apiece. it was the longest overtime game in Predators history and the longest of the 2016 postseason.  The Sharks appeared to end the game in the first overtime period, but Joe Pavelski’s goal was overturned on a call of goaltender interference, which didn’t sit well with Sharks coach Pete DeBoer. ” “That rule has been clear as mud to coaches all year,” DeBoer said. “Why should it be any different in the playoffs?”

DALLAS MORNING NEWS/STLTODAY.COM:  Cody Eakin’s overtime goal lifted the Dallas Stars to a 3-2 win over the St. Louis Blues, tying their best-of-seven series at two games each.  It was a big win for the Stars, avenging their 6-1 blowout loss in the previous game. The series shifts back to Dallas for Game Five on Saturday.
