  1. Rare I actually physically laugh at an article but the dress himself stuff was great! Who is this guy Lyle? Your grandson maybe?

    • Personally I think he is ignorant. Calling both players losers. What did this jackass ever do.

  2. I don’t think either team came out ahead: at least at this point in time; but I don’t think either team lost the trade either.

2 guys needing a change of scenery and two teams needing to shed problem contracts. I say let’s pick this up again after the regular season is done and then decide.

  3. I think your language needs title. These are 2 professional hockey players that are among the best in the world at what they do.

They may have struggled, but they are not “losers”.

I hope when you are standing side my side doing an interview with James Neal kissing his ass at the end of a period, he looks at you and calls you a loser.

  4. The title was harsh and it came across as a witch hunt. He says Lucic went through “almost a 4 month scoring drought Dec 23 to March 5” Lucic might be able to dress himself but I’m sure he can count months.

1 week in dec + Jan + feb + 1 week in March is 2.5 months.

    How is that 4 months?

    This kid is a dweeb.

    Looks like a twerp too.

As far as the trade goes. Edm wins for sure. The cap space offsets it a bit.
The fact that Neal can be bought out with his contract helps.

Also the fact that Neal played back to back Stanley cup finals and moved twice (3 times now to edm) in the off seasons = he’s tired and needs to recoup.

    My $0.02

  5. Like to see the writer walk up and call Lucic a loser to his face; Neal too for that matter.

    • Lucic is a loser. He’s receiving all the bad karma he deserves after threatening Dale Weise in the handshake line at the end of their playoff series. It just reveals more about his character and class (or lack thereof).
Karma baby! You’re a $6 million ANCHOR and you earned it Lucic!
