  1. I was surprised not to see John Hynes in NJ on this list. Ray Shero appears to have put together a team that could contend this season (goaltending variables notwithstanding) and if the team is still a basement dweller in December a lot of fans are expecting Hynes to be the fall guy.

  2. Bruce Boudreau would be great in Toronto – a Leaf alumnus, proven track record, loved by both fans and the media. Maybe some day.

    • Babcock should easily make this list. His stubbornness and decision making has been the biggest factor in their last 2 1st round exits.

  3. Doug Weight a possible new coach if Guerin makes a coaching change???

  4. Nothing would be finer than to see Tortorella getting the axe this season!
Rude, arrogant, condescending, self centered and obnoxious should get you one thing in life – either a pink slip or a knuckle sandwich. I’ll settle for the pink slip.
It will be fun watching Tort squirm and be miserable without all the talent the Blue Jackets lost since last season.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy!!!

    • Leo Durocher once observed that “nice guys finish last.” Truer words were never spoken when it comes to pro sports.
