Anderson could be a candidate for a trade at the deadline IF a team headed for the playoffs runs into a goalie injury simply because that would increase his value. Otherwise, since they can’t expect much for a 38 y/o headed for UFA status, they’ll likely keep him to the end of the season. Not much point in a 6th or 7th round pick.

agreed George , unless Anderson requests a trade for a chance at playing on a playoff team for one last kick at the can. Have to think this is his last year in the league.

The guy on the Sens I’d bet on being traded at the deadline is Boedker – again only IF he’s having a decent season, and IF some playoff-bound team is looking for depth at F. He, too, is a UFA at season’s end and although he carries a hefty $4 mil cap hit, most of that will have been paid by February. One way or another he won’t be back in Ottawa next season.
