Fire Montgomery. Pretty simple. He’s is not an NHL coach yet. Take Dave Hakstol. I don’t get how owners and GMs hire these college coaches that have no NHL experience. An assistant first at the highest level in the world would be a proper start. Head games when you’re managing 18-24 year olds who don’t get paid millions might work, but you’re not at Denver anymore. The Stars players obviously don’t like their coach and his inability to lead at the nhl level.

If the Stars can get to 31st place by 1/1/20, they’ll be following in the footsteps of the 2019 Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues.
I wonder if that makes the Stars a contender???
