Carolina needs an experienced bottom 6 right handed center that can play the PK and be trusted to win critical face offs. Glendening from Detroit would be a good fit in Carolina.

If Carolina had to trade Fleury or TVR I would prefer it be TVR. Fleury is younger, has more upside, and is more affordable. TVR is very reliable and consistent defensively. He could provide immediate help to a lot of teams. Carolina will have two 1st round and two 2nd round picks next year that could also be used to add to the roster.
I would not rule out the possibility of Edmundson being extended and Gardiner being the defenseman traded. I’m sure neither Waddell or Gardiner thought he would be a third pair defenseman this year.

If the Leafs were offering Pierre Engvall for Jarry , the penguins should be all over it. 6′ 5″ can skate and is only 23.

I think the Pens get more from someone else. His stats this year are pretty darn good.
