I’m honestly surprised that you didn’t list the pens. They have the assets, a gm who is old and all in now and a hx of swinging big trades. Huh.

The Penguins lack the tempting prospects compared to the others on that list. Rutherford has already stated he’s unwilling to part with his first-round pick, which the Devils will want as part of the return. I also think the Devils would ask for Tristan Jarry, and I don’t believe the Pens are keen to move him now.

I like Preds as a good bet. Devils have cap space to take Turris contract back. I think Coyotes could be another option.

As a Bruin fan I wouldn’t mind losing a first ,Heinen and a prospect like Fredric wouldn’t want to trade Studnicka he to me is Bergeron 2.0
