The Pens fans critics of Dubas have been strangely silent so far this season.
You must have missed some of my posts.
I, like many Pens fans, were (and still are) very pro on the Brazeau , Wotherspoon, Mantha , Slivos acquisitions.
That said, I personally don’t know anybody that likes that Dubas couldn’t move Karllson to get some more fresh talent this summer.
Have Pens turned the corner? Anybody would be a fool to claim that we have already done so. The season is young. Only time will tell.
Great (and certainly unexpected ) start so far, for sure. But we can’t in good conscience think this pace continues.
I’ve said all along that we are not getting McKenna. We need to put that to rest.
There were players still available in late August and in September that Dubas should have and could still have pursued but didn’t.
The Caps signed Leason yesterday(brilliant move BTW) that I’ve been very vocal about (about Dubas signing him). League min is no risk at all.
Let’s wait on judgement until his next key decision (one of which is when Kevin Hayes comes off LTIR). Dubas has publicly stated that veterans are not guaranteed a spot and that merit/ability/performance would be the decision factor on roster choices.
If Dubas does allow Hayes to play; he (Dubas) once again, will have done a bone-head decision counter to what is best for Pens
He sent Graves to WBS; which was a correct move. That said; he’s also has the youngster Pickering (LD) wrongfully wallowing in WBS, while playing 4 righties and pairing righties that cause big time errors(need only cite Clifton).
Let’s first see how Pens do on this 4 game road trip; and then look at the standings come Thanksgiving.
Really? I thought that the outrage he didn’t trade a third round pick for a failed 1st round pick was clearly documented !!
Chrisms
We never knows what goes on behind those glasses.
It’s like Bits ‘ n Bites
Every handful is a whole new ball game
he should have signed Leason
Cute win by the Sens over a pretty ho-hum Bruins squad.
but still having a pair of defense at minus 2 in a 7-2 win should be a concern
Like I said all summer the Penguins will be a contender for a playoff spot….
They have added speed, more youth is coming, new coach, Karlsson has returned to form, goaltending has been solid scary.
Crosby is well Crosby like a fine wine…
A trade is also coming.
Look if they are in the hunt for at least a playoff spot thats a win from last year.
Malkin too who woke him the f****k up another goal last night 14 points.
3 game roadie coming tonight at Philadelphia followed by Minnesota and Winnipeg.
7-2-1 not too bad.
only one blowout loss.
Boston seems to be missing the boat with the architects of this group.11 games in and this team is already running out of excuses. Surly the loss of Hampus Lindholm is but a speck of what ails this group. The Providence Bruins being 6-0 doesn t look good to the evaluations coming from the big club. This front office failing to start a rebuild puts this organization already behind. The clock is ticking on Pasta and Mcavoys careers.
Sens made them look slow last night. Nice seeing the Sens starting to play that shutdown, hard forchecking game again. Their goalies have come around as of late.
