I’m surprised you chose Danault to represent the Habs on this list. He did a great job on the defensive side and in the face-off dot; 80% effective in one game. That aid, I thought Domi was a more likely candidate,or Drouin (although he also showed sparks at times), same with Tatar).

I am not sure Bob Duff, the author of the article, reads Spector’s comment section but I agree that Danault was not worthy to be included in the list. While he took on a reduced role overall with the emergence of Suzuki and Kotkianemi, he played well in a defensive role. Poor research, really, and faulty framework. Only reinforced when he includes a Brendan Kelly tweet … that guy needs to stop being given a platform to espouse on something he knows nothing about: hockey.

Agreed 100%. Danault does not belong on this list. And relying on a Brendan Kelly comment? Ridiculous!!!

I would like to add a Penguin to that list. Pick one……Geno, Letang, Rust, Zucker, Murray, Sullivan…….
