KUKLA'S KORNER: reports Ben Wright, blogger for the Atlanta Thrashers official blog, has written via Twitter the club has officially signed defenseman Chris Chelios.

**UPDATE** TSN also reports on the signing. No word yet as to term or amount but I suspect it's a one-year pro-rated deal. Chelios was playing for their AHL affiliate in Chicago.
