NHL, NHLPA Announced 2009-10 Salary Cap.

The NHL and NHLPA released a joint statement today announcing the salary cap numbers for the 2009-10 season. The cap ceiling will be set at $56.8 million, the cap minimum at $40.8 million and the adjusted cap mid-point is $48.8 million.
