Former long-time Washington Capitals goaltender Olaf Kolzig has officially announced his retirement after 14 NHL seasons.

SPECTOR'S NOTE: I'll take a look back at Kolzig's career on my blog. In his prime he was one of the best in the NHL and was a big reason for the Capitals march to the 1998 Stanley Cup Final.
