  1. A little petulant, perhaps, but it would have been nice had you at least posted that Vegas scored 2 empty-netters in that “4-1” win over Ottawa and that the game was a lot closer than the final implies.

Adin Hill, the game’s 1st star, made 25 saves – same as Johansson.

I expect to see the Senators soon move their HQ to the Ottawa Civic Hospital, following yet another injury – Foegele.

  2. Fowler stole one last night. HF30, you have to agree there were no deficiencies in his game and all the studying in the world couldn’t solve him last night. Season is young and sure he will falter at some point but in the short sample size he looks like the real deal. Montembeault’s injury is the best thing that could have happened. Time to move on. When you say Montembeault is the most technically sound of the 3, I’m not sure that’s a positive given he had the lowest save percentage of the 3. How bad would he be if he wasn’t technically sound?

  3. Schaefer has become a star and it’s real fun to watch. The next real big contract.
