I think that’s “the right message” to give your captain, but I don’t think your captain needs to be asking 9+ million during these times.

Right now, 50-50. I think he wants to stay and Armstrong wants to keep him. Still, even if he accepts a “hometown discount”, the Blues will have to shed salary to fit his new contract into their payroll.
