The Avs can probably re-sign all of Bura, Nuke, Graves and Jost for less than $13 mil and can find a cheap veteran to play 3rd pair for pretty cheap. They can also slot a guy like Kaut into the lineup – he’s ready.
So, they do have money to go after Hall if Joe thinks that’s what they need or they can spread that money around a bit and get a solid 3C then move Compher to the wing. If they move more money out by trading a guy like Donskoi, they’ll have even more flexibility. It’ll be interesting to see what they do.
