NHL Rumor Mill – February 22, 2024

by | Feb 22, 2024 | Rumors | 58 comments

Check out the latest on the Penguins, Panthers and Avalanche plus updates on Noah Hanifin, Chris Tanev, Juuse Saros, Pavel Buchnevich and more in today’s NHL Rumor Mill.

LATEST ON THE PENGUINS

PITTSBURGH HOCKEY NOW: Dan Kingerski reports Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas said his club’s performance over the next couple of weeks would determine his plans for the March 8 trade deadline.

Dubas made it sound as though Jake Guentzel might not be with the Penguins for much longer. The 29-year-old winger is slated to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, sparking speculation he could be moved at the trade deadline if the Penguins remain out of playoff contention.

The Penguins GM said he understands how valuable Guentzel is as a teammate and to the community. However, he also pointed out that the Penguins need to get younger, noting they have several players over 30 on long-term contracts.

SPORTSNET: In his latest “32 Thoughts” column, Elliotte Friedman reports there are teams that believe the Penguins will take another run at re-signing Guentzel, suggesting perhaps team captain Sidney Crosby might use his influence in this situation.

Friedman also noted that there are teams interested in Guentzel who want to know if they can talk to him about a contract extension before agreeing to a trade. That would hurt a team like the Edmonton Oilers, who’ve been linked to Guentzel but have limited salary-cap space.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: The Guentzel situation remains the same: Dubas could retain him for the rest of the season if they’re in a playoff spot by the trade deadline but could move him if they’re not. Looking at where the Penguins are now in the standings, it’s getting to the point where Guentzel could be moved by March 8 if a club makes a solid offer.

As for attempting to re-sign Guentzel, Kingerski noted that the Penguins GM didn’t mention contract extension talks during his press conference yesterday.

Kingerski and Friedman also noted that Dubas said he attempted to shake up his roster with a trade several weeks ago. However, the opportunities to do so weren’t there. He also indicated that he didn’t want to move his draft capital to bolster the roster, though he would consider doing so if it brought in young NHL-ready players.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: TSN yesterday reported Dubas was willing to entertain offers for anyone except Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang. Kingerski pointed out that the Penguins have 13 players carrying no-movement or no-trade clauses. Those clauses likely hampered Dubas’ efforts to make a trade to shake up his roster.

Friedman also mused about whether the Ottawa Senators might consider bringing back Erik Karlsson from the Penguins and reuniting him with former teammate turned assistant coach Daniel Alfredsson.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Friedman indicated that isn’t based on anything he’s heard but is something he’s just musing over. I don’t see it happening. Karlsson loved Ottawa and still maintains a residence there but I think the new ownership and management have plans that don’t include the former Senators defenseman.

Friedman also wondered about Penguins winger Reilly Smith returning to the Florida Panthers.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Smith spent two seasons with the Panthers before joining the Vegas Golden Knights. Panthers GM Bill Zito would like to add a top-nine forward but he noted that they don’t come cheap.

The Panthers lack a first-round pick in the 2024 and 2025 drafts and they don’t have a second-rounder in this year’s draft. Unless Zito is willing to part with some prospects, Smith probably won’t be returning to Florida.

MORE “32 THOUGHTS” RUMOR TIDBITS

SPORTSNET: Elliotte Friedman indicated that there’s no official confirmation yet that Calgary Flames defenseman Hanifin is going to the free-agent market but that’s where it’s headed.

He doubted the Tampa Bay Lightning could put together a suitable package to entice the Flames into parting with Hanifin. He also noted that the Toronto Maple Leafs made a pitch and would like to know if they can sign him but he appears headed to an American club on a long-term contract.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: The Leafs would also be hard-pressed to put together an enticing offer for Hanifin. They could pitch their 2024 first-round pick but if they’re not willing to part with a top prospect they’re unlikely to outbid other clubs.

Speaking of Hanifin, Friedman recently speculated the Panthers could be among the suitors. Based on Zito’s comments regarding the expense of landing a top-nine forward, I don’t like their chances of getting the Flames defenseman.

The Dallas Stars, Oilers, Leafs, Vancouver Canucks and Colorado Avalanche have an interest or have had an interest in Flames blueliner Chris Tanev. The Flames seek a first-rounder or something comparable.

Some folks believe there’s a 50-50 chance that Juuse Saros stays with the Nashville Predators. Speaking of the Predators, center Tommy Novak is a UFA this summer and he could draw interest if they can’t re-sign him.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Saros is signed through next season so there’s no rush to move him by the trade deadline, especially when the Predators are jockeying for a wild-card berth. A summer move seems more likely if they can’t work out a contract extension.

The St. Louis Blues have set an asking price of “two firsts or something like it” for winger Pavel Buchnevich, who has a year remaining on his contract.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Like the Predators with Saros, the Blues could be reluctant to move Buchnevich while they’re still battling for a wild-card spot.

Canadiens defenseman David Savard doesn’t wish to leave Montreal. Meanwhile, teams have asked Buffalo about Alex Tuch but the Sabres value him.

The Colorado Avalanche’s search for a center could have them eyeing Arizona Coyotes’ Nick Bjugstad, former Av Alex Kerfoot or Michael Carcone.

  1. “We need to get younger” so we’re going to trade a productive 29 year old and build around a 36 and 37 year old center and a 33 and 36 year old defensemen.

    Brilliant!

Okay, all my talk about moving Crosby is null and void.

This team is in for some miserable seasons ahead.

    • No way they ever move Sid unless he asks to be moved it would be wise to try and move Karlson or letang even Malkin if possible. But doubt they do any. They should move whatever they can.longer they wait long er the rebuild

      • They already brought back Jagr I think they should let him finish the season. A good pick up for sure!

    • Re; the Old Pen’s

Where is Pengy when we need insight into the Pens organization…………..⁉️

    • Kind of looking at the San Jose of the east. At least San Jose found someone to take Erik Karlsson

    • That seems to be the popular opinion. I hope he likes rotting in the basement for the rest of his career. Granted he already has 3 cups. But from Pittsburghs perspective, why? Why are you keeping this guy around?

Malkin is a movable guy with 2 years and 6.1 per remaining but has a nmc.

Letang I don’t see any contenders chasing because of his term (4 years after this remaining.

      Ditto Karlsson .

Both have NMC’s. And even with retention, would be next to impossible to trade to a contender.

Not sure why Dubas chased this guy. Didn’t they see how bad Karlsson / Burns idea was you in San Jose?

Crosby by far is their most valuable piece and easy to move. But that makes too much sense because “sentiment “?

Crosby puts a great jumpstart on a rebuild. So why not?

      Bourque
      Gretzky
      Messier
      Chelios
      Federov
      Staal
      Esposito
      Jagr
      Selanne
      Etc.

      All traded.

      Why not Crosby?

      • Not to mention these Hall Of Famers who were either dealt or left their original team under other circumstances

Frank Mahovlich, Bobby Orr, Daniel Alfredsson, Mats Sundin, FDickie Moore, Jacques Plante, Dave Keon, Bobby Hull, Doug Harvey

      • This isn’t the Penguins decision. This is all on Sid. He has a full no move clause. If he wants to leave he will be traded. Plain and simple. If he wants to stay, whatever his reason, then he’ll stay.

Team management and ownership will never ask him to waive his no move. The team isn’t in dire circumstances. He sells tickets. No urgency on anyone’s part. The guy is a legend and gets to choose his own path. That is rare. Good for him.

And i get it. Every fan wants to see him come to their team. He makes any playoff eligible team a clear #1 contender. But the fact is Sid is calling the shots. He doesn’t owe any league/team/country anything. No one owes him anything other than respect and the balance due on his contract. Imo.

      • Lemieux was never traded

      • No, because of the nmc it’s not Pittsburgh’s decision. It’s also not their decision on Malkin, Karlsson, Letang etc. But there’s nothing wrong with asking.

It’s a business, what would be insulting with the brutal reality Pittsburgh faces?

“Hey, this is the direction we’re going, a total rebuild. We’ve tried and failed for 6 consecutive years and fell short. You’re 36, do you want to stick around ? We can move you to a team of your choosing of there’s interest, we’ll move you to your desired location.”

As far as every fan wants to see them on their team? I don’t think that’s accurate. I think he makes a hell of a lot of sense for a handful of teams, but a lot more teams he makes zero sense.

And you’re right, he owes nobody anything. Much like Pittsburgh owes him nothing other than to honor the NMC.

That’s how the world works. Whether you are an nhl player or a Starbucks employee. You provide a service for an agreed amount and they send you a check. Nobody owes anybody anything more than that basic commitment.

He sells tickets today. What happens when that team hits rock bottom? We all know that answer. Pittsburgh knows that answer all too well because this would be the 3rd time they’ve been brought to the brink of bankruptcy.

It seems like a lot of Pittsburgh fans are in for the inevitable 7-10 year rebuild. At the end of the day, who am I to argue?

Let’s look at this plan in 3-4 years from now and see who’s still all in ?

      • Me. Purple.

There are players who never were. As someone points out in this thread other teams like Detroit have made the same mistake of not maximizing the return on players before they rot the core.

It’s a great story! That costs teams YEARS of mediocrity or worse!

As a Ranger fan, here’s to hoping Crosby , Malkin, Letang, Karlsson all retire penguins!

Hell, bring back Fleury , Lemieux, Francis , Barasso and every dinosaur out there to ever wear a Pittsburgh jersey!

        I’m all for it!

      • Guy I get it, you desperately want to see Crosby on your team. Ain’t going to happen. Yes, the Penguins are a business. Why would a business jettison off their greatest income making asset? He is worth way more to the team than some 25th-30th draft pick. Sid staying in pittsburgh, from the team’s perspective is clearly a business decision. They trade Crosby, PPG Paints Arena is empty tomorrow.

      • Lmao. You’re as delusional as the Penguins brass thinking they can still compete. But thanks for the chuckle.

I have a feeling I’ll be chuckling at the deadline as well.

Currently the rangers top 2 centers both have 2 points less than Crosby and are younger. Again, as I said before Crosby makes a lot of sense for a hand full of teams. NY isn’t one of them!

Hater? Jealous? Lol. Keep on dreaming! You enjoy the next 7-10 year ride if Pittsburgh takes your pathway of sentiment.

I know I will, and as usual, Pittsburgh fans will go into hiding while their team goes bankrupt yet again.

Houston penguins? Too hot in Houston for penguins. Maybe they just change the name entirely? Houston roadrunners has a nice ring to it!

A tad sensitive when it comes to reality. It’s not that serious.

      • It’s a very ranger kind of attitude. They haven’t really had any home grown talent that spent their entire career in the garden. Maybe richter or lundquist? But they are a stretch. There is a sports fan pride that comes from having a star start and end on your team. Mario doing that means as much to me as the championships.

      • Again, that’s a heartwarming story, and god awful business.

I don’t want to watch players rot, age and go out with a whimper. I’d rather the franchise move on.

As a NY fan, I’ve had a lot of players I really liked, but don’t have that kind of sentimental attachment. Jeter, Bernie Williams, Mo Rivera, Lundqvist, Leetch etc. all great fan favorites. But some of them held on too long.

I’ve said it here many times. I was glad for Leetch when he was traded, and the organization. And he had the best response to being traded.

A reporter asked “how could they trade their franchise defensemen “
And he responded “well, they weren’t winning WITH me, so..”

Watching Gretzky, the best player in the game (who I never really liked) walk away game 82 , no playoffs go out with a whimper wasn’t good for NY or Gretzky.

It’s a business. Some just don’t want to own that. When it’s time to move on, it’s time to move on.

      • I’m sorry cap. That must have been tough for you. I like the business spit this sport. Find it fascinating. But if that’s all it is… business? Then why don’t you comment on a nyse board? Or a cryptocurrency board? A save our local small business board? We both know it’s more than that. Business wise. Crosby is more important as a pen than not. He sells tickets. He could bring a nice return. But enough to turn this sinking ship around? A late first or two? A prospect that ain’t generational? Nope. Pitt gonna wait till they bottom out and get the next one. It’s what we do. And it’s been fun doing it.

      • Well you know what I mean. Teams aren’t publicly held do nyse isn’t going to report on team standings etc. it iS a business. We’ve seen plenty run good, and other run bad including the Pittsburgh penguins on both sides of the fence.

Let’s compare it to an automobile business. You have a run down broken corvette that no longer runs good and will be out of commission in a couple of years. Someone offers you a trade of a lesser car, let’s say a brand new Honda Accord. Brand new zero issues and will last you 10-15 years. Are you turning it down so you can keep sinking money into it until it finally does and walking to work and having a nice rusting lawn ornament in the process?

You’re right, Crosby alone isn’t bringing back the savior. Nor a generational talent. But he himself is no savior, and no longer a generational talent either. That won’t get better with time. It only gets worse.

He is the most valuable piece on that team by far, today. But much like that rotting / dead Corvette he’ll be of no vale to anyone 3-4 years from now.

Why not take what you can show you still can?

Because Karlsson, Malkin, Letang , Reilly Smith , Carter combined aren’t getting you much, and some of them you won’t be able to move or have to pay to move.

Sell while you still can. This team isn’t remotely close to a contender and hasn’t been for years!

        Good business!

      • Agree!
Dubas should simply go to Crosby and ask if he wishes to mentor the rebuild or play for another Stanley Cup.
        Pretty simple.

Crosby to the Av’s for Bowen Byram, prospect Calum Ritchie, 2025 – 1st round pick.

Rangers are in serious need of a center with Chytl looking like he will miss the rest of the season and maybe the rest of his career.
Malkin to the Rangers for Kakko and a 1st round pick with Penguins retaining 50%.
It’s a lot of money for 2 more years but cap space will not be an issue during the early stages of the rebuild.

Dallas is looking for a puck moving defenseman.
Letang would fit the bill perfectly.
Letang to Dallas for either Logan Stankoven or Liam Bichsel and a 2025 – 1st round pick.

Oilers are salivating over adding Guentzel to pair with Draisaitl.
Guentzel to Oilers for either Broberg OR Holloway plus a 1st round pick.

Pens have moved most of their long term contracts, Carter ($3.125) is coming off the books this summer and the Penguins rebuild is well underway.

      • No thanks on Malkin. Ny needs a 3-4 center not Malkin. I ain’t giving up a 1st and Kakko for Malkin at this point. Malkin has less points than Zibanejad or Trocheck. Hard pass!

Nys 3rd line has been playing very well of late. Wennberg or Henrique would be much better fits than Malkin. Depending on how the 3rd line continues to play over the next week or 2 , I may pass on both.

I can’t exactly answer to Dallas’s needs. But I doubt they pursue Letang, or anyone does with that term and hit at his age. And certainly not for a return like that.

      • Lemieux not traded..

Crosby not traded.. you understand now !!

Bobby Clarke not traded….are ya getting it .

        Jonathan Toews

There are certain players who don’t get traded and Crosby is one of them..

This team can quickly retool especially if Malkin retires which he seems to be hinting at quietly behind the scenes Dubas will infuse some youth slowly and bring Sid who is playing at an elite level the help he needs.

      • Did I not say that it doesn’t always happen? Did I not point that out? I don’t really care if they roll him out when he’s 70 years old! Good for them! Brilliant management!!!!!!

Elite level? Yes, he’s still playing at a vet high level. He’s currently 26th in the league in scoring! Exactly 2 points ahead of Kreider , Zibanejad and Trocheck.

I guess 4 of nys top 6 is elite too? Yay!

    • They’re going with the Chicago Blackhawks approach to “getting younger.”

    • Look at Detroit and what they’ve gone through. Years of trading picks and prospects just to squeeze into the playoffs and lose early. Pittsburgh Fire sale this season gets them back into the playoffs in maybe 3 or 4 seasons. Otherwise, buckle up. It’ll be twice that if they hang on the fringes

      • Ed is absolutely correct. I’m from Detroit ,and by hanging on to Dats, Zberg and others when they both had a lot in the tank and could have brought back some good assets to a S. Cup contender just killed us in the long run. You can’t count on lottery luck, needless to say.

    • That maybe true but winning a couple cups is worth it..16 straight years in the playoffs

No one else has done that.

Two year surrounding Crosby with good talent they are in it..dubas will do that

      And guild after that quickly

  2. This sentence: “Dubas was willing to entertain offers for anyone except Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang…” should have stopped at “Crosby”, and any actions should have started weeks ago.

  3. Predators & Sentors Trade

With the Preds 28 yr old Goaltender Saros sounds like he is on the trade block now or at the NHL draft.

Ottawa wanting to move a top pairing d/man like
    27 yr old LD, Chabot
    or
    25 yr old LD/RD Chychrun ..
    🤔
Preds d is Very Very OLD, hear are there top 4.

-Roman Josi @ 34…4 yr left at $9.M
    -Luke Schenn @ 35… 2 yr left at $2.75M
    -Ryan McDonagh @ 35… 2 yr left at $6.7M
    -Tyson Barrie @ 33…a UFA

They are also trying to trade both RD men Carrier &
Fabbro, Dante to rebuild there d core…🤔

    Maybe its a Bigger deal,
Goaltender Saros, Ryan O’Reilly, RD/man Carrier
    for
LD, Chabot, Shane Pinto, Ottawa 1st pick they get from Boston in 2024 draft……❓

    • I don’t have a problem with any of that but I won’t add my own suggestion. People just come in rip your trade appart and value players differently. Not even a point in suggesting trades anymore.

      So.
ottawa might do some stuff and some players may come back for their players they trade away….end of proposal

      • I could see something in Willie’s post but there is no way Pinto gets traded.

I think Norris has a better chance of being moved than Pinto….except for that heavy contract…

      • I can’t see them giving up on pinto or chabot. The team has been playing much better lately, and if they would have had Martin in place sooner Sens would probably be in a playoff spot or close right now.
I agree they might have to do some changes but not something that drastic.

  4. I’m not going to thump Friedman for the Karlsson thoughts.

I mean. It would have to be Norris and Brannstrom going the other way. Maybe some retained and some kind of picks depending on who valued whom the most.

Karlsson and Chabbot strangely worked well together. Fans certainly wouldn’t mind it. He’s wildly popular still in Ottawa. The thing is, it hasn’t worked in Pittsburgh and might not for the same reason. There’s only so much puck possession time to be had. He simply always has the puck.

    • Hey Saint,

My reason for saying Centre Shane Pinto .. and
I Really like Shane Pinto, it may Not be Pinto in that Deal it could well be an othere Centre like a Norris
if i was the GM I would do Norris….??

      Ottawa’s Centres

      #1 Centre Tim Stützle
      #2 Centre Josh Norris
#3 They have 2 young Centre’s.. Shane Pinto & Ridly Greig both of these 2 kids are Centre’s
of course Goaltender Saros would have to agree to a sign and trade other wise its Dead.

Both of these teams have what the other team Really Need…❓

  5. Would be real disappointed if Armstrong does not get Buchy extended and trades him instead (even ror 2 1sts)–but why would I be surprised??!!

    IP

  6. Vancouver should have traded for Buchnevich instead of Lindholm

  7. Karlsson will not be back in Ottawa as a player.

    • Nobody is taking the Pen’s Erik Karlsson at $10M for 4 more years get real..,⁉️

He is slowing and and his production is down,
Dubby has a big long job infront of him Re-building the old Pens.
6 of there top 8 go from 29 ( Jake Guentzel ) who will get traded why would he want to stay… to 39 years old up front,

28 yr old UFA Goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic has been there best in net,
The D has not been good
and No Star power coming down the pipeline…. and No 1st pick or 3rd pick this year…🤔

      • Willie it is funny that you say that because the Penguins goals against are 5th best in the league and coming off a 4-1 win last night that should help.

Goal differential is 159 GF 147 GA

read my post above with the cap going up $ 4 million ufas, rfas a couple of trades ala Reilly Smith / Rickard Rakell the Penguins will have about $ 28 to $ 30 million this off season in cap space

I think just give Dubas a little time and he will get this team strong again

It is just we absolutely no secondary scoring, the power play sucks and we have blown too many leads

      • Their goals for are like 5th from the bottom…. You’re forgetting that.

In company with the worst teams in the he league!

  8. Sure Tuch has a value in hypothetical trades….in reality…the only way Tuch gets traded is if it involved someone like McDavid coming back.

Tuch home town is 2 hrs from Buffalo, grew up a Sabres fan. He’s not getting traded for spare parts.

    • Mcdavid? Oh boy. Brace yourself!

      • Vegas is jumping in hard on Jake Guentzel…especially with another Mark Stone injury..

That should be an interesting battle between Vegas and Edmonton for Guentzel.

      • Captain Obvious…You keep popping off about the Penguins and I believe the Rangers are your team if Im correct.

Since 1990 which is recent history until now who has won more Cups Pittsburgh 5 Rangers 1

Penguins who you are ripping and the Rangers do have one big thing in common this year both will not win the Stanley Cup

      • Hmmmm, let’s see. One is a couple of points out of #1 in the league, the other sits outside looking in. With Zero hope of even making a chance to play for the cup!!!!

Do I think NY wins the cup? Not as currently assembled. I think NY is 3 pieces away at minimum.

        Top 6 RW
        3rd or 4th line center
And an upgrade somewhere on left d.

See what I did there? It’s called a realistic view of the team you cheer for.

You saying “they’re a couple of pieces away is beyond comical. A retool ? Comical. Congratulations on the success they had years ago. They haven’t done anything in 6-7 years now! And are about a year or two from the cellar!

You’ll hopefully disappear like most penguins fans when they hit the cellar.

      • Captain doe doe

Penguins 16 years in a row consecutive playoff appreances no one in the league has done that so shut the front door

5 cups to 1 over the Rangers
Penguins the last 30 years have been a much better franchise mic drop.

        not even close

      • Captain obvious i said that lack of scoring has been the main problem along with a s****y power play..

I was responding to Willie saying defense sucks..yes graves has struggled and Karlsson is iffy on defense but team defense

        5th best in the league

Goal differential is positive 159 gf
        147 ga
        Not bad

Crap poerplalack of scoring behind Crosby Guentzel

        Too many blow leads
Opening day up on Chicago 2-0 lose 3-2
        Just last week up
1-0 9 minutes left period 3 lose 2-1 to kings on a shorthanded goal

They are competitive they have really been blown out once this year by Edmonton

  9. Don’t see the hype for Tanev has like 25 hits wouldn’t be my first choice for a team looking to get harder to play against. If Swayman plays a Swayman game Bruins beat Edmonton easy 3 gift goals now I will say he saved their butts in OT what a horrible call with 20 seconds left.

    • I get Tanev for a 2nd or 3rd pair on a contender but he plays the 4th most minutes on the backend in Calgary
how is that worth 1 st for the 4th dman on a team not making the playoffs? maybe because a bidding war….

  10. With Stone’s recent injury (plus Eichel still out), maybe Reilly Smith back to Vegas? Though depending on how long Stone is out, not sure how it all its in the Cap when all are healthy and active again.

    • Are they pulling a Robidas Island with Stone?

  11. I have to wonder what Dubas is smoking. They have no first and third pick in 2024, and no second pick in 2025. They may have no first either, if they choose the option to move it to 2026. And yet Dubas said several times in his presser that they are “well stocked” with draft capital.

Dubas also said: “Everything that we do will be with the intention of delivering a championship contender for the team without them having to go through years of pain to get there. That’s my commitment.”

In addition to points made by others about the age of the roster and the # of no trade contracts, how exactly are the Pens going to get to the promised land any time soon?

I have huge respect for Sid but if he is actually inserting himself into the decision making process he should be told to butt out.

The Pens’ miserly, IMO, can be traced to resigning Malkin, who could have brought back either players, prospects or draft picks, and then the immense mistake of adding Karlsson.

    • Thanks to those two idiots Hextall and Burke who resigned Malkin…who has admitted recently said he doesn’t quite have it anymore. i wouldn’t be surprised if Makin plays out the year and then quietly retires which would be good.

Karlsson is on pace for 60 points which isn’t bad it is just not 101 like last year.

Hearing maybe he gets moved back to Ottawa where he excelled.

you could do a Josh Norris & Branstrhom deal for Karlsson.

  12. Pens trade Gentzel for a young NHLer, 1st + and Ned to COL or LA for a 2nd

  13. I’m curious as to why we aren’t seeing DeBrusk’s name in the trade rumors? He’s probably the best trade chip the Bruins have right now and the best chance at getting some draft picks back, hopefully, this season. This isn’t a knock on Debrusk, just doing what’s best for organization. I’m assuming any trading of o goaltender will happen in off season, after the Bruins lock up Swayman,

    • Sweeney afraid of trading JDB because if he turns it around,he will get crucified about the 2015 draft again!

    • Re; Linus Ullmark

I think the Boston Goaltender gets traded June 28th at the NHL draf this season…?

A 30 yr old Starting goaltender will be in Big Demand

    • DeBrusk is a UFA yes? Would love him on the Penguins next season like him as a player..

  14. Seems to me Colorado should try to bring Kadri back. If Flames move Hanafin elsewhere one of the Colorado d ( girard or Bowen ) would fit in the Calgary D.

  15. Marner for Crosby?
    It’s Dubas’ guy
