It seems like a lot of teams are “becoming sellers”, but who is buying? With the trade deadline around 3 weeks away, plus the current quarantine restriction for cross-border travel I was expecting the Leafs and Oilers to begin shuffling the deck chairs now, but there’s been nothing but an 8/9 defenseman for a 3/4 goalie so far.

Sweeney is busy watching the Bruins drop out of playoff contention. He won’t go after anyone good . He likes the waiver wire. He is living off the team winning the President’s Award a couple of seasons ago. (And then losing the playoffs).I don’t know how he keeps his job.
